Situated on the Bukit Peninsula, fifty metres above sea level on the cliffs that overhang Bingin beach, the property commands heart-stopping, spectacular views of the ocean and the southern regions of Bali. ‘Bukit’ is the Indonesian word for hill and the panorama from this elevation extends all the way up the west coast past Jimbaran, the airport, Kuta and Canggu, and inland to Bedugul. On a clear day, the awesome vista takes in all of the volcanoes from Mt Agung in the east, to Mt Bromo in Java. It is in this area that a number of the more affluent members of the surfing fraternity have chosen to build their homes, ensuring that early each morning a quick glance from the bedroom window will ascertain the best waves and the destination of the day.
